Lindsay Anderson, LCSW, SEP
Lindsay Anderson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Her practice includes individual and family therapy for adults, for children and teens, and for families, alongside play therapy, family therapy, parent support groups, groups, and Mommy and Me classes.
Two modalities anchor the clinical work. Somatic Experiencing® is a body-oriented treatment modality developed by Peter Levine, PhD, offering a unique perspective on the healing of trauma by emphasizing the sensation and communication of the body — so that challenges can be renegotiated and healed rather than relived. EMDR is a safe, non-invasive, evidence-based practice developed to treat trauma and PTSD, which activates the brain’s innate information-processing system and guides the resolution of stuck experiences.
