About Lindsay

Therapy that listens to the body as closely as the story

Lindsay Anderson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner who works with adults, families, children and teens. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Her work draws on Somatic Experiencing® and EMDR — approaches that attend to the body’s sensations and the brain’s own information-processing system, so that difficult experiences can be renegotiated rather than relived.

Find the fit

Talk through what brings you in and who the work is for — an adult, a child or teen, or the family together.

03

Work with the body

Somatic Experiencing® emphasizes the sensation and communication of the body, helping you renegotiate challenges rather than relive them.

04

Process what is stuck

EMDR activates the brain's innate information-processing system and guides the resolution of stuck experiences.
